Hi, my name is Larra Jones, I am in the peer tutoring program at Pike Central high school. I am in Mrs. Wright’s class, and there are six children with special needs in this classroom that I help every day. In October, we traveled to the Griffth Family farm in Paintsville. The kids got to see the different animals, like donkeys, horses, pigs, dogs, and other small animals like guinea pigs. They did crafts and got to ride the hay ride further back into the farm. One of my favorite things is Fridays, we have fun Fridays. The kids do crafts and we play educational games with them. I am looking forward to the Spring 2023 KVEC Special Ed Conference with big sandy. I love going with the class on field trips, I love watching them get so excited about little things.
